An unexplained aftermath of the Kennedy assassination is that an extraordinary number of people, each with some special knowledge of the tragedy, have died violent, peculiar, or mysterious deaths.

These are not the only ones to have died mysteriously who possessed crucial scraps of knowledge about the killings of President Kennedy, Officer J. D. Tippit or Lee Harvey Oswald. Numerous other of people similarly knowledgeable have reportedly been beaten, shot, threatened, intimidated or run out of town. At least a dozen others brushed by the event have left Dallas.
