Marilyn Monroe's Death: Visitor Comments - CoverUps.com
From John... I’ve carefully reviewed the available factual information (autopsy report) and multiple books on the subject of Marilyn’s death. When you read the actual autopsy document, it is very apparent that she did not take the Nembutal by mouth (no gross pill fragments in the stomach, no microscopic crystal residue in gastric or duodenal fluids). The extremely high level of Nembutal found in her blood would have required 50+capsules to have been swallowed, and this large volume always leaves some trace in the stomach. The report also notes bruising of the colon (ecchymosis), small bruises on her posterior hip and lower back, and dependent livido of her face and chest. Having been found lying face down on the bed explains the dependent livido (pooling of blood) on her face and upper chest. However, for several years I had questions about the colon findings and the small bruised areas on her back and hip. Finally, I found a book titled “Double Cross,” by Sam Giancanna. This was written by the Chicago mobster’s grandson, who had the same name as his grandfather. In that book, the grandson wrote that his grandfather bragged not only that he had Marilyn Monroe killed, but even told him how he did it. The method he described is the only thing I’ve come across that matches the autopsy report. He explained that at the opportune time (they were bugging her bedroom), his hitmen entered the bedroom where she was lying in bed on her stomach trying to sleep. He said they then held her down and administered a prepared enema containing a massive dose of Nembutal. This explains the findings of colonic bruising due to the sudden forced distention by the enema, and would also explain some bruising as they held her on her stomach to administer the enema. Once enough drug was absorbed so that she stopped struggling, he said they slipped out undetected. He explained that they did it at just that time, to implicate the Kennedys. He notes Bobby had been back and forth that day to try and calm her down, since he was in the process of breaking off their relationship (It was explained that he had become involved with her to deflect her from the president, and was now trying to extract himself from her). His physical presence the evening of her death, the fact that she was scheduled to hold a press conference on Monday, and the Kennedy’s obvious need to keep the relationships quiet made this the ideal time for her death to cast doubt on the Kennedys. Mr. Giancanna also considered the possibility that she might disclose her mob connections thru her Hollywood friends who set up the meetings with her and the president. Sam Giancanna had bragged that they set up Marilyn’s relationship with the Kennedys in the first place to ultimately use this as a way to publicly discredit them for “double crossing” them by going after them after they had helped them get elected. Mr. Giancanna’s book clearly explains the manner of death. This in turn, explains many inconsistencies I’ve read about at the death scene and the behavior of various principals immediately following the discovery of the body. As reported in multiple book sources, Robert Kennedy and her personal physician were notified once the aide found Ms Monroe either dead or dying. All the things I have read about such as moving the body (vain attempt at rescue/resuscitation), staging the body and pill jars (restore what had looked like a suicide scene once it was clear she was dead), searching for documents (remove her personal diary and all connections to president), and the delay of reporting to local police until all this was accomplished, make perfect sense. My opinion about her murder is that those who killed her, they murdered also JFK and Robert Kennedy. Any other opinion is schizophrenic. It is possible that the body they did the autopsy on wasn't really Marilyn . If that is true, then all of this attention on the autopsy and the coroner's report is just to throw everybody off the trail. She may have been wisked away in the early hours when the ambulance first took her away. Then the ambulance returned several hours later with a different body. A Marilyn impersonator. There was a big cover-up, because Marilyn was supposed to be "Eliminated" and she somehow got away from the people in the ambulance. The cover-up was not just meant to fool the general public, but also the C.I.A., and the F.B.I. and anybody else who wanted her dead. I am presently working on a story now, based on an experience 22 years ago. About a travelling homeless, paranoid schitzophrenic woman, whom I met while she was hitchiking . She was surprised to learn, by asking a lot of qustions, that I was an actor and my last name is Baker. She told me that we might be distant relatives . That her Mother told her that she had distant relatives living in Canada. She said that she used to be a famous Movie Star. She told me that she recently got out of an institution where she spent many, many years. When I asked her what her name was, she told me slowly and delibertly that she was Norma Jeane Baker as though she was expecting a rude reaction. Even if her story proves to be false, she was the most convincing person to ever be able to impersonate Norma Jean Baker and/or Marilyn Monroe ..... She had two distinct personalities. I am not financially independent, so I haven't been able to make a thorough investigation into who this woman was, where she lived etc. She just claimed that she travels all the time , afraid that "They might find me and finish the job." It is now 22 years later and I feel that she wanted me to tell her story, eventually . She probably wouldn't be recognizable now as Norma Jeane or Marilyn, if she is even still alive . But, most of the people who were afraid of her "Telling all" are gone now. I wish that I could get some financial backing to investigate the wherabouts of this woman and to track her down again. If a D.N.A. sample could be obtained from her, it would prove one way or the other whether she was indeed who she claims to be. I have two autographs from her as Marilyn Monroe. I have sent photocopies of them to a handwriting expert in California who said that he would not dismiss them as being authentic, but he couldn't 100 % verify them either. There's no doubt in my book that Marilyn was murdered. If 911 was called immediately, instead of that plotting Dr., Marilyn might be alive today. I think that Marilyn died of an accidental overdose. It is public knowledge that she had made attempts at suicide in the past. I think not actually wanting to die but desperately needing help. It is also known that she made telephone calls on the night of her death. And that someone alerted her housekeeper to check to see if she was ok. Maybe if her housekeeper had checked thoroughly instead of a brief glance in to her bedroom she may have been saved. The only cover-up that i think took place was the exact time of death & the death scene. I think Marilyn died a lot earlier than we think. But we were given a later time so that a "Hollywood" style death could be created. Naked on bed, phone in one hand, empty pill bottle in other etc etc. When in reality i think it would have looked a lot different to that. However these are just my views. The only true FACT i have is that a very beautiful, talented woman died a very lonely & sad death. Much earlier than it should have been. I am sure that if she had never been in Hollywood & had remained as Norma Jean she would have probably lived to a very old age surrounded by a huge family who loved her dearly. I will not post names of those involved as it is extrememely doubtful much if anything could ever be proved now as most of those directly responsible have now passed on themselves. Medium is then made to understand by male presence that though she was in fact in a deep state of depression that night and either threatened suicide(to wrong parties)-or made only a half-hearted attempt as an attention-getting ploy to same parties involved,but that the act would not have been enough to bring about death.Medium explains that afterlife communication is not an exact process and though some clear and direct meanings do come through at least as much -if not more is interpretation on the part of the medium. At any rate medium is then shown a small room-possibly a motel room though that is not certain-and bottle of medication laying on the bed -near full. Norma Jean: "I made phone calls that night. I attempted to reach out but noone knew how to help.Then I called the wrong person". Medium feels certain at this point that attitude and words by N.J.were merely acceptance of at least some of the responsibility (rightly or wrongly) and a desire to neither linger in the past nor harbor negative energy over the past-so as to move forward.This being typical and common with souls on the other side. However the male presence with her does not seem to totally agree with N.J.as regards much of this and then shows medium a scene involving N.J.laying in a bed groggy and overly medicated and a male figure,dark hair,dressed in a suit,thinning hair and in probably mid to late forties bending over N.J.by side of bed and doing or administering something-but could not see what that was. Male presence then says something to effect of "I should stay out of it and just let her tell it". At end conclusion of medium was she was in fact either murdered or greatly assisted in furthering her suicide attempt and its successful outcome and on the part-or directed to do so by other parties involved. One final observatiion also made by medium was that she no longert seems distraught or depressed in any manner and in fact indicated "I'm fine-I'm ok"but thanked parties involved for their concerns. That was pretty much the jist of it-again for what it may be worth. From Thomas... There are more theories regarding the death of Marilyn Monroe than there are stars on our flag. Some can be discounted because they are obviously from the realm of pure imagination and utterly without any kind of credible evidence. A few theories fit what is known about the circumstances regarding her and her involvement with the Kennedy brothers. From the autopsy performed by the future coroner Dr. Thomas Nogiuchi we know that her stomach contents were empty and her intestinal tract showed no traces of ingested drugs. It is interesting to note that her alimentary canal was discolored which would indicate that there had been some kind of irritant lodged prior to death. So, the means regarding a "fatal enema," does ring with a note of veracity. There were many irregularities that occured. Firstly, her body was taken directly from her home to the Westwood Village Mortuary.Why the LAPD allowed this has never been adequately explained. In any event, it was a CORONER'S case to begin with. And, the final decision as to cause of death only came after what is known as a "psychiatric autopsy," which raised more questions than it answered. There were numerous witnesses in the neighborhood who were never questioned, and the police investigation was totally inadequate. You would have thought that given her fame a thorough accounting of all events at her home that Saturday would have been accomplished. I believe that she was murdered and that the cover-up was planned and involved many layers of government. Given this supposition, it explains exactly why and what happened with the shoddy investigation on all levels. Important evidence disappeared and or was destroyed that weekend, the witnesses that were never questioned have long since died, and both of the Kennedy brotherrs were assassinated. It's a wonder to me how she died.poor thing was forced down while someone injected her with enema thru her rectum into her stomach. I know this because I always get spirits showing me how they died. always thru meditation...and so...when I happened to meditate on her asking her how she died, she showed me. I felt like I was held down while someone pinned me down, there was two men and a lady standing by...watching me. I could feel something was inserted into me...the thing wouldn't come off me till I had to call out for Jesus Christ to help me. I woke up drenched in sweat. I know that after what they did to her...they cleaned up the thing and positioned here the way they did so it'd looked like the way it it when the police came in. From Sydney... Ive read 20 books and formed my opinion. Who killed her? R Kennedy and Peter Lawford. Wittnesses saw the two enter and leave her house on the eve of Aug 4th. The actual date of death was the 4th because it happened before midnight. Lawford said he spoke to her and she said to tell Bobby goodbye and the president. And to him too, because he was a nice guy. If this was true, why didn't he go right over? The coroner said no needle marks. Fine but her colon was all black and discolored. He sent her organs for testing and they were lost? Phone records lost? For one thing, friends report that Marilyn could NOT swallow pills easily. She awlays would open them and mix them in her drink. How with all the supposed pills? With no drinking glass. The first cop on scene said foul play and he was replaced with another. EVERY PERSON WHO ASKS QUESTIONS ARE FIRED OR REPLACED!!! Please lets all get together and open this case once and for all! I will not rest until the death certificate is changed to homocide. She has no one to speak for her. US, the people who love Her, we have to be Her voice. Keep asking questions. Last thing, on Peter Lawford's death bed, he said he knows the truth about Marilyn but he'll never tell .....Come on. From Kirby... everyone knows that she had a thing with the kennedys and it says in many books that i have read about her life that she was having an affair with robert kennedy and at one point even president kennedy. i belive that she knew too much and thats why she was killed. i have read the autopsy report and it says that there was no marks on her body to suggest that she was injected with anything. Dr michael baden a very well known coroner reviewed the case a few years ago and said that he believed that she was killed by a fatal enema (for those who do not know what an enema is, its a medical procedure done so that you can go to the tiolet if you get what i mean) he said that marilyn would of believed that the enema was just like any other enema but it was full of something lethal, thats the only other way that nothing showed up in her stomach and nothing in her bloodstrem or pin marks on her body. i belive and so does many others that she called the doctor out and the doctor that turned up that night to see marilyn either wasnt a real doctor or was but was payed by the kennedys and he administered the fatal enema. thats just my theory but whatever the truth is its got to come out one day and i hope that it does. she did not desrve to die and especially not the way that she did and to try to tarnish her name by saying that it was suicide is an insult to her memory. i belive that the coroner who performed the autopsy was payed off, i believe that the cops at the scene was payed to stage the scene and mess with evidence and anyone at all involved that night were fakes and if any of them are still alive they should tell the truth or at least feel guilty for what they did

From Jess... From Jess in Pomona I say the whole suicide thing is bullshit. She could'nt of swallowed 40 pills without water. And the evidence shows that there was no glass of water beside the bed. When Marilyn died she couldn't of laid there straight. I say that it was on of the Kennedy's that killed Marilyn because first she sleep with the president then she has an argument with one of the Kennedy's and then she is dead. When the police were asking questions a lot of the witnesses were changing their stories. That proves that someone killed her.

From Alex in Boston... After erading everyones elses thoughts on MM death and various books about it I have a few thoughts to put out there I don't know how to piece them together though: 1. Is there any definate proof she died @ home, because pictures could have been staged. 2. Everyone involved keeps changing their story. 3. Too many people were involved with her on the 4th August for something not to be strange about her death. 4. If you found Marilyn Monroe dead you would ring the Police straight away not wait 5 hours. 5. Her body is too 'straight', it has been arranged in some way by someone. 6. The Monroe Threat During Monroe's affairs with the Kennedys a detail of information about a secret political partnership between the Kennedys and the former Soviet Union was leaked to the Silver Screen Sex Goddess. When the KGB learned about Monroe and her awareness of the two administration's secret partnerships, they urged the president's Secret Service to take care of the situation by ending Monroe's life. However, the Secret Service in an attempt to keep things "civil" proposed that instead of plotting Monroe's death, a wire tap should be set up in Monroe's residence to survey the situation. Through secret analysis the Secret Service would determine if Monroe was truly a threat to, as they called it, "national security." Several months later an impatient KGB threatened to deal with the problem on their own if the Secret Service did not handle the situation, but the Secret Service's loyalty to their commander in chief delayed responses; the KGB stepped in. Unknown to JFK or anyone in his administration, several years earlier the mob had secretly signed a contract with the KGB to allow the mob to operate its business in the former Soviet Union. In exchange the mob would make the Soviet Union its sole partner of imports of illegal drugs and firearms into the United States, along with further subcontracts. The KGB disgusted with the Secret Service's handling of the situation ordered the mob to terminate Monroe's life. Late on August 4th of 1962, the mob entered Monroe's house and injected her with a deadly dose of a fatal drug. Needless to say, JFK learned about the death immediately and sought out the Secret Service for answers about their failure to prevent such an incident from occurring. JFK never truly desired for such an incident to occur and upon learning about the facts (indeed ALL of the facts; the KGB, the mob ties, etc.) JFK threatened to end the secret relationship between the United States and the Soviet Union's KGB; such an end was believed to be a threat to starting an all out nuclear war. Before reading this I had a vague knowledge of the details surrounding Monroe's death. I had always believed she has committed suicide and discounted any conspiracy theories. However after the first chapter of this book I completely changed my mind. I know believe that Monroe's was killed because of what she had written about the Kennedy's in her Diary. I am shocked at the level of the cover-up around Monroe's death. Stories were changed and evidence went missing. I watched this investagation program on the television on eveing and they were investagating marilnn monroes death and they said the stories that the people gave them were incorrect for...they all had their own twist.we belive that the kennedy brothers had something to do with it, but they didn't act alone, for we also came to the conclusion that the maid ms.murray also had somehting to do with it as well as the doctors and a multitude of people including the government and others. first of all: the story the maid gave to police was.... she went to check in on mm and the door was locked so she tried to open it and couldnt so she got the butler and they got a ladder and propted it against her bedroom window, and broke in with some sort of object but no glass was found inside hte window, usually when you break glass from the outside the glass falls inside the window, but there was no trace of glass. the maid was also found washing sheets in the middle of the night. Second... her room was extremly tidy and she wouldn't have the time to clean up if she was going to die she wouldn't care obviously if she were to kill herself she wouldn't have the time or state of mind to really make things perfect plus her condition of the body she was found holding a phone which she had talked to on wiht a friend only hours earlier, did she pick up the phone in order to cry for help.?but was stopped by the affects of someone administrating drugs to her.? Now I am not a doctor so I am not really sure what this all means, did she have a cold? or pneumonia? As for the pills she took, they would of left a yellow trace in her stomach, and she would of vomited, like the previous time she tried to kill herself and did not succeed. From the Inje... Hi, I have been researching MM's death, and I would like to share a few thoughts. 1. If MM had intended to kill herself, she would have made it into a show. She would have worn a white sexy dress, done her makeup and hair, and propped herself up on satin pillows, or some such. She would NOT have arranged to be found the way they say she was found. 2. If MM was killed by a drug enema, as she slipped into unconciousness, her muscles would have relaxed. The enema liquid would have been released from her body, and gotten all over her body and the sheets. I believe THIS is why the housekeeper was found hurriedly washing sheets in the middle of the night, and why MM was naked and in an awkward position. 3. There are too many varied and uninterested people who say Bobby K was in the area, at the house, and then flown out hurriedly by helicopter for him NOT to have been there. So, why would he have been there? I think she was pregnant, and had had an abortion. I think both Kennedy brothers dumped her suddenly, while she was hoping one or other would marry her. I think she was also planning to maybe get back with Joe DeMaggio, and she has been rehired to finish her SGTG movie. In no way was she planning to die. I honestly feel that due to my research, I can say without conviction that I believe I know what happened to Marilyn. As you will read below, I have compiled a lot of evidence to prove the coroners wrong of their 'probable suicide' ruling. Here goes... I believe that the Kennedy Brothers did not act alone. Going through medical school, I learned that 6mg of Nembutal is all it takes to be fatal. 7.5mg of chloral hydrate will put someone into a coma. I feel that Dr. Greenson helped the Kennedy's along by giving them such information. Hell, Dr. Greenson could have administered the fatal dosages for that matter. I believe that the Kennedy's paid Dr. Greenson a healthy amount of money to help them take care of their little problem. However, I believe that Eunice Murray had a lot to do with it. I believe Dr. Greenson staged the suicide scene. Having that many drugs in her system, there is no way Ms. Monroe could have even THOUGHT to tidy up her bedroom, let alone lay herself on her bed, stiff as a board. She would have collapsed to the floor. She could have laid herself on the bed and waited for the barbituates to sink in, but I don't believe that happened. Nembutal can be injected into the bloodstream through a syringe, also. Did the coroners happen to look for any needle marks between her fingers or toes? Perhaps under one of her breasts? Probably not. They were probably in on it, too. I believe that Dr. Greenson administered the comatosing dose of chloral hydrate and once she was under, injected her with 7.5mg of Nembutal. He then waited several minutes, and then arranged her body on the bed, with the help of Eunice Murray. Once the deed was complete they waited a few hours so that rigormortis would set in, convincing the police that they had found her that way. That's why Eunice stayed the night eventhough she usually did not, that's why Dr. Greenson was the first person there, and that's why there was never an actual suicide note found. This was not suicide, this was cold blooded murder. As every other Marilyn fan, I do not believe that Ms. Monroe could have committed suicide. No one can ever say for sure, as we were not there once the body was discovered. But we CAN rely on the facts. Instead of going ALL the way back, I will just use the 1960's, as they are the most relevent. Try this on for size. First off, here's an interesting little piece of information. Eunice Murray, Marilyn's housekeeper, had been given her job upon the recommendation of Dr. Greenson. She had no formal training as a nurse, but he often used her as a companion to patients of his who he felt needed day-to-day support. She did not normally stay overnight at Marilyn's house, but on the night of the star's death she had slept in one of the spare rooms.... #1. After Marilyn was found dead, the police searched unsuccessfully for a suicide note. Though there is some speculation surrounding said note, there was a note found in her room, though there was no reason to suspect suicide. #2. Earlier in the night, it has been said AND REPORTED that Mrs. Murray (her housekeeper) had heard yelling coming from Ms. Monroe's room. Could she have been yelling at one of the Kennedy's??? Hmm... interesting. #3. She also received a phone call from Joe Jr., her stepson. He has been reported to say that she did not seem depressed or upset at all. In fact, she sounded happy. This call was supposedly prior to the yelling, screaming call. (Which I will now refer to as the Kennedy call.) #4. When her body was found, she was laying in what many coroners have called the "Soldier Position". Imagine if you will, the guards outside of Buckingham Palace. Stiff, unable to move, legs straight, arms tightly at your sides. Now... I want EVERYONE to try this. Go stand next to your bed, as straight as you can. Pretend as if you have just taken an overdose of pills. Now, be sure to make time to straighten up the pill bottles, straighten up your bedding, and prepare to make a great staging of your death. Now, since you're standing at the very edge of your bed, fall face first and try to keep your arms and legs as straight as you can. I'll give you a minute............................ That's kind of hard, isn't it? When Marilyn Monroe was found dead, Dr. Greenson and Mrs. Murray both said that she was 'draped nude over her bed'. I have it in writing, right here in front of me. Now, does 'Soldier Position' sound like being 'draped'? Not to me, and not to the multitude of people I have spoken with. Sounds like something was staged... And finally, #5. Coroner Theodore Curphey announced that the findings of the psychiatric suicide team and the autopsy test done on Marilyn concluded that her death was ruled as a 'Possible Suicide'. Hmm.. Possible? There's nothing possible about suicide. It's either suicide or it's not. The autopsy report on Marilyn concluded that she had died of 'acute barbiturate poisoning - ingestion of overdose". There were no signs of any external violence, but she had 8mg of chloral hydrate (a mild sedative) and 4.5mg of Nembutal in her bloodstream. Wow. That's a lot. Now, this is only my opinion. From Lee in WA... A thought on Marilyn Monroe’s death. We now know that JFK had incurable venereal disease. Probably genital herpes. If he gave this to Marilyn she would surly be infected. If this infection were to come out, her career as a sex symbol would be over, and if it came out that JFK had given it to her, the political repercussions would have been disastrous for all the Kennedy’s. If she was infected, her career was gone and there was a real reason for the Kennedy’s to bury the evidence. Does anyone know the autopsy results concerning a possible Herpes infection? The Kennedy brothers Jack and Bobby were fond of abusing their power and status to meet their sexual desires. From Shellie in Arizona... I have just been reading your latest posting from an Amanda in North Carolina who claims to have been researching Marilyn Monroe’s death since 1992. I have a few things to say to that person. Marilyn Monroe’s autopsy report totally contradicts everything that you have said. So for those of us who have “half baked” theories, our theories are at least based on FACT. Something that is totally missing from your statement. Let me start by stating that Marilyn did die of a barbiturate overdose. That is true. According to the autopsy report and pharmacology report, she had no evidence of pills in her stomach nor in her intestine. It is a well known fact that if someone dies from an unintentional or intentional pill overdose there will be evidence of the pills in their upper G/I tract. There was none in hers. No crystals from the outer casings of the pills, nothing. Her liver was the organ that had the highest amount of barbiturates. That could mean one of two things, she either was injected with the drug (which is probably unlikely due to the fact that the autopsy stated there were no needle marks) or she was given the drug rectally. Something I’m sure Marilyn just wouldn’t have done. She was too dramatic. If she were going to commit suicide, she would have done so in a big way. The sightings of Bobby Kennedy in and around her home during the 1 hour of missing time have been verified over and over again. A few of the residents that saw Bobby Kennedy entering Marilyn’s home are still alive today and swear by their convictions. The bottom line is this. It is pretty clear that she did not commit suicide. People who commit suicide usually follow a pattern. There was no pattern here. Whether or not she died at the hands of the Kennedys or died as a result of an accidental overdose by her Physician (who consequently had given her a shot of barbiturate and chloral hydrate in the same afternoon) the fact remains the same. She is gone and we all missed out on a beautiful human being! I just think that if one is going to spout of their “findings” after 11 years then that person should know the undisputable facts! I have been a devoted Marilyn fan since 1986 and I believe in one thing….Marilyn was a beautiful person inside and out! From Stacy... It's titled "MARILYN, THE LAST TAKE" written by Peter Harry Brown, and Patte B. Barham. It is a MUST READ for people who trully want an insight into the topic. I've read it five times - and it has definitly led me to believe that she was a murder victim - at the hands of the Kennedy's. I wonder if she would have kept her secrets to herself, not talking so much to others, and then not threatening to come forward - if we would have had Miss Monroe for longer.
