Alien Homebuilder Accused of Skimping on
Beachfront Condos - CoverUps.com

Newly built Turtle Beach, a planned community in Hilton Head, SC. Many recent buyers feel they have been ripped off. According to the blueprints, the home was to be a 1-1/2 story beach front condo unit that could comfortably accommodate 4 - 8 people.

Nangork Home Builders said the misunderstanding lies in many families not reading the fine print: the house only claimed to be "suitable for children 4-8 years old."

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Larry and Gina Marchetti of Allentown, PA, were excited about the prospects of buying their first vacation home: a three-bedroom condo unit on the serene coastal waters of Hilton Head's newest development, Turtle Beach. Those feelings vanished like a toddler in tidal surge when they attempted to move into their home last week, Coverups learned.

The Marchettis' claim they are the victims of a land scam.

They said their finished unit was nothing like the plans Nangork Home Builders promised to build them. They claim their new condo is nothing more than a child's toy playhouse, that looks surprisingly like a plastic one made by the Step-2 Company. Furthermore, the Marchettis' claim the only beach nearby in the Turtle Beach development appears to be a turtle-shaped plastic sandbox, which contains merely about 2 - 20 lb-bags of play sand; not anywhere near the 100-yard private beach front view promised by the developer.

"Come on," Larry Marchetti said. "Do they think we are complete freaking imbeciles? This is clearly a child's toy house and sand box. I can't believe they are trying to get away with this crap! I will definitely crack some skulls over this…"

Larry Marchetti, an ex-con who did 12 years for involuntary manslaughter when he fell asleep at the wheel of tug boat, said he was going to take a Louisville slugger to the head of
his real estate agent, Sam Rossi, who put him into the Turtle Beach planned development.

The Better Business Bureau of Greater Hilton Head said they have received many such complains about Nangork Home Builders, but there is little they can do.

"The problem is that the development company is run by an alien from another solar system. They don't know the first thing about building homes for human beings," said BBB spokesperson Howie Cheetum. "They did indeed study trends in homebuilding, but they studied the wrong ones. Instead of adults, they thought children's toy homes were the hot thing right now. Well, they are… But only among toddlers."

Like many others, the Marchetti's claim their now beachfront home is nothing more than a Step-2 playhouse retailing for about $500 at Toys 'R Us. The Marchettis' purchased their unit through Nangork Home Builders for $456,000.

Rarf Nangork, president of Nangork Builders and an alien from the Alpha Centauri solar system, dismissed accusations that his newly planned Turtle Beach community is nothing more than a child's playground.

"It's better than the trailer park the Marchettis' were living in last week," Nangork said.

Larry Marchetti could not be reached for additional comment. His wife said he was on his way to a Dick's Sporting Goods store to buy a new bat.
