HOLLYWOOD, CA. – Once again we are learning more sad news when it comes to celebrities. This time it involves “The Hoff.” We all know you shouldn’t “Hassle the Hoff” but we at CoverUps.com have learned some disturbing reports about his earlier days on the set of the corny 80's show "Knight Rider". We met with an out of work stunt man, who recalls filling in for “The Hoff” on the set of Knight Rider in the 1980's and he gave out some interesting dirt on The Hoff.
“What people don’t realize is that Kitt (the famous black Trans Am) was actually real. That car was the most advanced automobile since "Herbie: the Love Bug" and it literally did many things on it's own. In fact, it even did a lot of things for David (Hasselhoff) and always kept him out of trouble.”
"Knight Rider" starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a kind of modern-day 'knight' who drove a highly advanced smart car with artificial intelligence. However, our source said that Mr. Hasselhoff would drive around all day in that thing and get plastered.
“He really took advantage of the cars capabilities, and that's a shame,” our source said. He said that Kitt got tired of David calling up all of his buddies about this “bitchen car that could drive itself.”
He said they would just take Kitt around town as they hit all the clubs. Naturally, Kit didn’t really care for David and his entourage back then, he said. He's not that
surprised that today David continues to wrestle with a drinking problem, he said.
Surprisingly, we learned the fate of Kitt in this interview as well.
“Kitt was parted out. It was sad. It turns out David never changed Kitt’s oil. He was too busy getting himself all lubed up himself!”
