WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA. - Socialite Nicole Richie of "The Simple Life" fame has recently undergone a spate of bad girl behavior and has drawn concern from her friends for her gaunt and emaciated look, along with many other things, including rampant drug use and a hard partying lifestyle. Things came to a head literally, when Richie fell, and then slipped through her own tuckus at a West Hollywood club and was briefly given up for dead by distraught friends before paramedics were summoned.
"It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life," said long-time friend and music producer Brad Salyn, who sees talent where others stubbornly don't. "I didn't know what to do. I mean, I told her she needs to keep eating, but this is something I had never seen in my life."
Sadly, Richie's problem is also common among the super skinny models of the world, and more are succumbing to a similar fate.
"It is a sad thing to see," Paris Hilton said, learning about the incident. "I mean I'm glad she's okay and all, but I would love to be that skinny...."
