HOLLYWOOD, CA - Heiress and socialite, Paris Hilton, finds herself all over TV, news, magazines, even jail cells. The young lady is despised by many, but still holds a lot of power in Tinsel Town, especially in fashion. Current similar fashion crazes include oversized sunglasses, (nicknamed 'goggles' by disapprovers), oversized bags, skimpy clothing, and undersized dogs.

These teenage girls have apparently been heavily influenced by the new hare trends.
Similar sights are seen in malls, high schools, and sororities across the country. |
In Touch Magazine writer Crissy Plume told CoverUps.com, "The small dog thing is cute, but it's getting very dated, I have been sensing something new emerging for awhile, and now it's finally here. Something way cute, and still cheaper, than dogs. Bunnies."

Plume told us that many pet shops in Hollywood have spotted flashes of blonde near their rabbit cages. Sales have increased in the last month, with Easter still months away. |
The public should expect to see furry thumpers now in those oversized bags, said Plume. Although they aren't as well 'potty' trained, they are reportedly a lot less needy, an appeal to the trust fund kids.
However, with a new demand by the rich and famous, a black market has sprung and rabbit cruelty cases have been reported. Although there have been no convictions, these breeders have been said to be in white collar neighborhoods. Animal control has been called to three different neighborhoods the past month with complaints about rabbits in their yards, apparently the breeding has gotten a little out of control. Many fear a re-emergence of the lucky rabbit's foot. CoverUps.com's good friends at PETA called us up to give us their input.
"There is no doubt in my mind these illegal breeders will try to make and market lucky rabbit's feet to this new demographic. Lord knows how many rabbits will suffer in the name of fashion."
