Ah!
Real Monsters: Everyone has suspected them at one time or another;
whether it's the Boogeyman hiding in our closet, the evil monster under
our bed, or the mythical monsters of childhood fairytales, these vilified
creatures are apt to slip out of the subconscious fears of man as he
grows from child to adult. At thirty, the man doesn't find the Boogeyman
as scary as he did at 7. But that doesn't mean they still don’t exist.
Moreover perhaps this waning of fear in monsters is validated in that,
once you really talk to monsters they really aren't all that scary as
they are made out to be. Below are some photos of some monsters that
CoverUps.com interviewed while conducting an investigation on monsters
and their mythical bad guy status…here's what a few of them had to say.

The gargoyle: “It gets so tiresome stretching out my
wings and maintaining this fierce face for the delight of man. Truly
I wish I could just give my jaw a good rub, sip a nice cup of tea, and
take a warm bath, whereby I can rid myself of the filthy layer of bird
droppings that ceaselessly fall upon my back”.

| The Chinese Kamodo Monster: “Everyone always runs away
from me when they see me coming. They think I am going to shoot fire
from my mouth or crush them with my large feet, but really all I want
is a friend. How do you think it feels to be the only freak in town
that everyone looks at with a funny eye and cautiously avoids”? |
 |
| The T-Rex: “For my safety I wish my identity to be concealed.
However, as you can see from my drawing here the age old myth that I
am carnivorous prey who loves meat is simply false! Here I am outstretching
my limbs for a quick jab at a beautiful and delicious apple. My best
days are when I can eat five or six of these followed by a nice hunk
of oats. It’s delicious, nutritious, and great for the dietary track.” |
