When many brush off car crashes as just accidents, evidence is increasing
that is just isn't so. The AARF (Automobile Accident Research Facility)
which has been in existence for over eighty years, just recently
gained recognition for one of their lesser known departments. This
department specializes in the field of intentional accidents. Not
by the driver, but by the car.
Driver Maggie Shembre of Detroit is very uneasy about these new findings.
"Just when we thought it was getting safer to drive with all these
new safety features like airbags and better built cars, we have this
thrown at us!"
Others aren't so concerned. They still think that car versus car accidents
are not that much to worry about.
What I don't like is driving around in my sedan on the same roads
as these monster Hummers!" The AARF have not found evidence of car
vs. car incidents. Dr. John Jay recently published that in a significant
amount of crashes the driver was found not be at fault. This lead
to some fingers being point at the car makers. Some say this was the
real reason for companies moving overseas, and not to seek higher
profits.
"These claims are just absurd! Our cars are soundly made and our intentions
are merely to provide the consumers with a more affordable vehicle,"
said Steve Hallock of General Motors to our staff at CoverUps.com.
 |
| The AARF found that many incidents
like this one just don't make sense. There was no likely reason why this person was
found run off the road. The driver claimed innocent of distractions or
careless driving. |
These allegations of cars intentionally causing accidents could
be very harmful to the economy. Not only will people possibly put
the entire industry out of businesses, but businesses that sell bumper
stickers, car stereos, fuzzy dice, and air fresheners will go under
as well. For places like Kragen, it could be disasterous.
"I don't think that consumers will respond that harshly to our new
findings, but they definitely need to know to make a wise decision
in what car they will buy. Some cars, are more prone to this than
others," says Dr. Jay. He revealed to us that it was mostly foreign
cars that had the lowest ASR with the exception of Hyundai and Volvos.
 |
| More and more often are cars found
in this state. Whether from owner abuse like gear grinding or 6k mile oil changes, these cars seem
to be desperate. They seem to prefer the wrecking yard. |
The most autos with the highest ASR were Fords (possibly from ridicule
of being unreliable) and Saturns (being made of plastic). When told
of these findings, Saturn executive Sandra Emmon was very perplexed.
"I just don't understand it, they've got dent resistent doors. You
just are not going to mess up that rust-free body. I am honestly shocked."
Ford declined to talk to comment.
Like pets before them, cars might really start getting more emotional
aUttention from their owners. But others just might decide to play
it safe and ride the bus.
