MIDDLEBURY, CT — The secrets of time are thoroughly held under wraps, some theorists believe, by a select group of “those in the know” at Timex Corporation, a maker of cheap time pieces based in the US, claims ex-Timex researcher Dr. Guido Serafini.

Dr. Serafini, an Italian scientist, who worked for Timex on the highly coveted "$10 Watch project,” claims to have discovered riveting facts about the essence of time itself during research to make wrist watches cheaper.

Dr. Serafini, who many colleagues have described as a “vindictive mad scientist addicted to painkillers,” claims to have invented a microscope so powerful it can take pictures of the “building blocks of time.”

Dr. Serafini claims he is being ostracized by the scientific community because he captured “pictures” of time itself. These pictures would cause the world to pitch Einstein’s notebook in the rubbish can, he said.

Dr. Serafini was fired from his job as a researcher at Timex for insisting time is actually made up of little minuscule clocks with wings.

“The scientific community does not want to hear what I have to say about time,” he said, during a private rant with CoverUps.com. “What I discovered blows the doors off of the establishment and what their golden boys (Einstein and Newton) dreamed up.”

“Surprisingly, those building blocks look like little clocks with wings!” He said.

The response to his research has been harsh!

“This is all a bunch of bullshit,” claims Dr. Ludwig Benner, of the German Institute to Travel Back in Time, who teamed up with Brenner on the $10 Watch Project. “I think he made up half of his research. He has a history of this sort of thing.”

“I don’t think our Institution is wise to tether us to his research,” Brenner added. “Rather, Dr. Serafini should be ‘tethered in an institution,'” Brenner laughed. “He is a nut job and gives the rest of us theoretical physicists a bad name.”

Dr. Serafini was unmovable on his theories of time.

“I don’t care what they think. I know I am right. I proved time does fly, literally. So there is truth in the old adage.”

We asked Dr. Serafini to describe his theory in detail.

As he flew into a laundry list of equations, suddenly we were all out of time.
